Sodium Lignosulfonate used as a coupling agent for rubber
Sodium Lignonsulphonate :
Adding a small amount of this nano lignin in natural rubber can play the role of coupling agent. It can be obviously seen from the scanning electron microscope of vulcanized rubber that the interface between rubber and various inorganic fillers has been blurred, that is, in the process of vulcanization, the nano lignin is connected organically by its own hydrogen bond inorganic filler and rubber through chemical reactions. Lignin plays the role of coupling agent in rubber reinforcing process. Small amounts of nanocortin also do the same in nitrile butadiene rubber.
As a surfactant, mass sulfonate is often used as a dispersant or isolator in the rubber industry. It can also be used as a reinforcing agent for rubber. The natural rubber was mixed with lignosulfonic acid containing 33% water. After drying, it was mixed with various compounds. After vulcanization, it had good physical and mechanical properties.
